“You cannot find peace by avoiding life.”

– Virginia Woolf

From a nonexistence safe place during this current situation that our world is facing up the hope is the only belief that may keep us alive. We need to remember how our daily routine was before this catastrophe, we need to keep those memories alive, we need to learn from our mistakes, we need to think and find a way to make it better, we need to transform the way we see our world. We need to face the fact that most of our past fears were only illogical justifications created by our mind to explain our lack of capacity to face the fact of an immediate change, we need to keep us honest, we need to keep us united. We need hope. We are here, with fear and hope mixed at the same time, we are here with the need of listening at our feelings, we are here trying to accomplish the process of self-acceptance, we are here with a bunch of hopes. I’m here and so you are.

From hope to future with love.

“Let us again pretend that life is a solid substance, shaped like a globe, which we turn about in our fingers. Let us pretend that we can make out a plain and logical story, so that when one matter is despatched—love for instance—we go on, in an orderly manner, to the next.”

– Virginia Woolf

“I see nothing.

We may sink and settle

on the waves.

The sea will drum

in my ears.

The white petals

will be darkened

with sea water.

They will float

for a moment

and then sink.

Rolling over

the waves will

shoulder me under.

Everything falls in a

tremendous shower,

dissolving me.”

– Virginia Woolf
